We hoped to establish a long term relationship with a painting team, so we could update our new house in stages. We looked for someone friendly, responsive, and of course great at paint. I’m so happy we found Brian and Powell painting. They’ve completed the first stage of our project, and the work is beautiful. Communication was excellent and they completed everything on the promised timeline so that the house was clean and ready to go on our move in day. We spent a lot of time in the house while they were working, and the team was great with us, our kids, and our dogs. Strongest possible recommendation!

Powell painting has done several rooms in our house and we’ve been very pleased with the results. Brian is responsive, professional and courteous and his pricing is reasonable. His team of painters are hard workers and do a great job of working out imperfections in old walls and making them look like new again. Just had a refresh done on our basement. Powell Painting and Home Services did an amazing job. We had a decent sized hole that needed to be patched, you would never be able to guess where it was. We also had custom shelving installed in our closet. Brian and his team are professional and great to work with. He really listened to what we wanted. We couldn't have asked for better results. Extremely professional and reliable! They painted our deck and front door stairs as well as a few carpentry repairs on the house. Bryan took the time to thoroughly educate us on all paint options considering the wood and weather conditions. His team is also spectacular.

I knew going into 2021, I had to give my half bath and kitchen a facelift, especially after having no dishwasher (again). Before I bought my townhouse, my last rental didn’t have one and if was going to do a dishwasher installation project, I was updating everything. I saw before and after photos posted on the Dedham Connection FB page from Bryan’s company and decided to give it a go. Not to mention, just no time to inquire to other contractors given the pandemic. I’m overall pleased with the final results. Even after buying new appliances, replacing toilet, vanity, etc the project for both came under my anticipated max budget which I was relieved about. My one nice to have recommendation would be offer customers “contractor discounts” when buying supplies at local stores should there be a relationship with the company as that would help too, especially for someone doing updates on only one income.

Powell Painting came to finish a DIY paint job that just got away from me, and install a window that was too small for its opening. All of my interactions with them were great--easy to schedule a time for an estimate, a fast turnaround on an itemized quote, and transparent scheduling. The workers who came did a fantastic job and kept the area they were working on very clean (always a sign of a good contractor). Couldn't be happier.
